Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you book a safari with Jawai Safari on jawaisafari.com, jawaisafari.org, WhatsApp or by phone. Jawai Safari is operated by CAT Hospitality LLP, Sena, Pali district, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us").

Official channels

jawaisafari.com and jawaisafari.org are our only websites. Bookings, communication and payments through these websites and our published contact details are the only authorised channels of our business. We are not responsible for any person, agent, website or social media page that falsely claims to represent Jawai Safari; dealings with them are at the customer's own risk.

1. Booking and payment

• Prices are in Indian rupees, per gypsy (up to 6 guests), and include GST where it applies.
• Online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on Cashfree's secure checkout; we do not see or store them.
• For sunrise, sunset and combo safaris you may pay an advance online. The balance shown at checkout (₹2,500 per gypsy per drive) is paid to your safari driver at the pick-up point, in cash or UPI, before the safari starts. You may instead pay the full amount online.
• Full-day, birding and village safaris are paid in full online.
• A booking is confirmed when the payment succeeds. You see your booking reference straight away, and our team sends the E-Receipt on WhatsApp.
• Festival dates (for example Diwali week and Christmas to New Year) are priced separately, as shown when you choose the date.

3. On the safari

• Follow the instructions of your driver and tracker at all times, and stay in the gypsy unless they tell you otherwise.
• No littering, loud noise, smoking or alcohol during the safari, and nothing that disturbs wildlife or the villages.
• Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Each gypsy carries up to 6 guests. We may refuse to carry extra guests for safety.
• Safari timings and routes may change because of weather or local rules.

4. Wildlife and liability

Leopards and other animals are wild and free-ranging. We never guarantee a sighting, and a safari without a sighting is not a reason for a refund. Jawai Safari and its partners are not liable for injury, accident, or loss of or damage to personal belongings during the safari, except where the law says otherwise.

5. Privacy

Your personal information is used to run your booking and is never sold. See the privacy policy.

6. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Kota, Rajasthan.
