Out at first light across the granite hills, when the rocks are cool and the leopards are often still moving after the night.
The late-afternoon drive, ending as the sun drops behind the Aravallis and the leopards come out onto the warm rock.
Both drives in your own gypsy: sunrise and sunset on the same day, or the evening drive and then the next sunrise.
A gypsy, driver and tracker for the whole day: the leopard hills, the Jawai dam and the villages at your own pace.
Around Jawai dam: flamingos, pelicans and cranes in winter, mugger crocodiles on the banks, and the leopard hills on the way.
Leopard country with the Rabari herders who have shared these hills with leopards for generations: a village visit plus a safari.
Prices are per gypsy for up to 6 guests, private to your group. Festival dates are priced separately. All prices and booking details.

Welcome to the wild heart of Rajasthan at Jawai Safari, operating in and around the iconic Jawai Bandh Leopard Conservation Reserve.
This is India’s most unique leopard landscape—where big cats roam freely over ancient granite hills, Rabari villages, and serene wetlands.
Choose your preferred safari, select your date, and get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience.
A Jawai leopard safari costs ₹4,000 for a private jeep holding up to 6 guests — roughly ₹667 per person with a full vehicle. Every safari is fully private. A sunrise-and-sunset combo is ₹7,499 per jeep and a private full-day safari is ₹14,999 per jeep. Festival dates (Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami and Diwali) are priced higher.
Jawai safaris run in an open 4×4 Maruti Gypsy — a soft-top jeep with open sides for clear viewing and photography. Each Gypsy seats up to 6 guests, plus a local driver and a tracker who works the terrain with him. There is no enclosed-bus or canter option in Jawai; every drive is a small open vehicle.
Yes — every safari is fully private. Your group gets the entire Gypsy (up to 6 guests) at ₹4,000, nobody else joins you, and the route is driven around what your group wants to see. We do not operate shared or per-seat safaris.
Alongside leopard tracking, Jawai offers birdwatching at the Jawai Dam (flamingos, pelicans, cranes and raptors in winter), mugger crocodile spotting at the reservoir, and village and culture visits to the Rabari shepherd communities who share these hills with the leopards. These run as their own dedicated drives — the Birds & Crocodile Safari at ₹3,200 per jeep and the Village & Culture Safari at ₹6,999 per jeep.
No. Jawai is not a national park or a government tiger reserve, so there is no forest-department permit or gate ticket. Safaris run across private and community land, which is why timings are flexible and the sightings are uncrowded. You simply book a slot with a local operator in advance.
