Diwali week (5 November to 15 November 2026) opens the winter season in Jawai: cool mornings, green hills after the monsoon, and some of the busiest safari days of the year. Here is everything to plan it, with live availability.

On festival dates the price is per gypsy, not per person: with 6 guests a ₹5,500 drive works out to about ₹916 each. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the safari.

A simple plan
- Day 1: Arrive by lunchtime and take the sunset drive at 3:30 PM.
- Day 2: Sunrise drive at 6:00 AM, a slow afternoon at your stay, then a second sunset drive or the village experience.
- Day 3: One last sunrise drive at 6:00 AM, then head home.

Where to stay
Book rooms as early as your safari. Jawai Heaven, our own resort near Jawai dam, has eight rooms: two tents with private plunge pools, a tent cottage and five stone cottages. Festival-date room rates are quoted on WhatsApp. Economic and Standard stay + safari packages are not offered on festival dates; Luxury and Ultra-luxury stays are quoted on request.
Getting here

Can I pay an advance?
Yes. For sunrise, sunset and combo safaris you can pay an advance online and the rest (₹2,500 per gypsy per drive) to your driver at the safari, or pay in full online.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the safari. Within 48 hours there is no refund.
Are leopard sightings guaranteed?
No. Jawai's leopards are wild and free-ranging, so nobody can promise a sighting. Our local drivers and trackers know the hills well.
